MMO[edit]

Discussion[edit]

Either keep these as historical, or delete. We could redirect them, but I doubt that would be of much use.

I actually moved the guidelines to WP:VG before I thought of this page, it seems fairly well written, but I'm sure WP:VG has something along these lines already... Dunno. Maybe I'll change all references to MMOs to Digimon and move it there... ~ JohnnyMrNinja 07:07, 31 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
We do have two things similar: Article guidelines and a draft for a writing guide. I wouldn't move it to Digimon because the different edit histories would not match up. Maybe redirect it and just copy the format.
The collaboration page can be redirected to Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games/Collaboration of the week. We'll update the redirect location once a proper collaboration page is up and running.
Not sure what to do with the other pages. The newsletter should be kept. I've been thinking of starting a page or linking similar old newsletters at WP:VG/NEWS. Because I know Sega had some too. (Guyinblack25 talk 18:41, 7 January 2009 (UTC))[reply]
I redirected the MMO collaboration to the video game collaboration that has recently become active again. (Guyinblack25 talk 03:36, 21 January 2009 (UTC))[reply]
Game guidelines RDed to VG/GL. Thinking we can MfD the news page, or get a speedy per housecleaning, which should wrap this up. --Izno (talk) 04:13, 22 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I think it qualifies for speedy delete under general criteria 8, as a subpage of a non-existent page. But since the related page is now a redirect, I don't know if that still applies. (Guyinblack25 talk 15:23, 22 January 2009 (UTC))[reply]

Warcraft[edit]

Discussion[edit]

Looking over those pages, they're either empty or redirects. Everything should probably be deleted but the barnstar (which is still in use at the current project page. -- Atamachat 19:49, 8 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It looks like the only pages to deal with are the Community and Index. They've been moved under the Warcraft VG task force space and tagged as historical. Do we want to do anything else with them? (Guyinblack25 talk 15:33, 22 January 2009 (UTC))[reply]

StarCraft[edit]

Mortal Kombat[edit]

Nintendo[edit]

Discussion[edit]

I would usually keep the Collaboration stuff as historical, but this one never achieved anything. Nothing was ever successfully nominated, and therefore I see little of value that can be kept here. I doubt the Nintendo taskforce would want it, but if they do then it should be moved. --.:Alex:. 21:31, 30 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I had already tried a history merge with Talk:Game Boy Printer, but it was denied, so I did a cut-and-paste merge, moved the WP:Nintendo page to Talk:Game Boy printer (note the lower-case p) and redirected, so the original page wouldn't be deleted as an unlikely redirect. I now wonder if this was worth that amount of effort... Oh well. ~ JohnnyMrNinja 17:52, 7 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
And the other I can't see any reasonable use for (right?) so it's at MfD. ~ JohnnyMrNinja 17:52, 7 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sega "& Nintendo"[edit]

Discussion[edit]

Eh... I'm thinking that these should either be moved to a sandbox of the only user that appears to have edited these pages, or deleted. They look very sandbox-y to me, and don't seem worth retaining as a historical archive. --.:Alex:. 21:31, 30 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Personally of the opinion they should be straight up deleted, as they're leftovers from when the Sega project unilaterally moved to "Sega & Nintendo", but weren't moved back. --Izno (talk) 22:12, 30 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe contact the primary editor and see if they want to move them into their user space. If not, then delete them. If yes, the redirects should still be deleted as they would be cross-name space. (Guyinblack25 talk 17:59, 7 January 2009 (UTC))[reply]
Input from the primary editor, User:SLJCOAAATR 1, has been requested. (Guyinblack25 talk 19:27, 21 January 2009 (UTC))[reply]
By all means, delete them. I'm actually ashamed by it... LORD SLJCOAAATR Sonic Wikia Admin 20:40, 21 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Well that answers that then. Thanks for the prompt response SLCCOAATR.
To our resident deletion experts, would these qualify for speedy delete or should we take them to MfD? (Guyinblack25 talk 03:42, 22 January 2009 (UTC))[reply]

The Sims[edit]

Discussion[edit]

The newsletter was deleted, and therefore there is no value whatsoever in keeping virtually blank unused pages. The taskforce might want the award and to do list. The "Sims 3" subpage could be moved to a subpage of either the taskforce or The Sims 3, or just deleted as it's mostly a collection of transclusions. I'm not sure that the project redirect of the Sims portal is necessary. I'll move the participants page and we can probably delete the redirect at a later stage. --.:Alex:. 21:31, 30 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It looks like most of the pages and related templates have been taken care of. See discussion at Sims talk page for details. (Guyinblack25 talk 15:00, 8 April 2009 (UTC))[reply]

Test Drive[edit]

Discussion[edit]

Pretty sure these qualify for speedy delete, I'm no deletion expert though. (Guyinblack25 talk 18:05, 7 January 2009 (UTC))[reply]

Db-g8 because they were populated by a template that was deleted, db-c1 because they have been empty for some time, and probably db-g6 (housekeeping) because they were part of a project that was deleted. I've tagged them. ~ JohnnyMrNinja 18:20, 7 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Cool. Thanks. (Guyinblack25 talk 18:25, 7 January 2009 (UTC))[reply]
