Welcome to English 101. In this course, we will explore writing as a subject and as an activity and focus on the act and process of writing. This means we will look at writing, something you’ve done most of your academic lives, as a subject just like science or biology. We will look at the history of academic writing, the research happening in the field, and various research articles in the field. We will also engage with writing as an activity.
