In this laboratory course we cover the theory and practice of basic molecular biology techniques. I am not sure what kind of Wikipedia assignment I intend to create, but I am really interested in trying this as a mechanism for student writing. I could also see having the students do a biography of a scientist or maybe even better, would be science communication. I would greatly appreciate a conversation with someone on the Wiki education team about whether or not any of these ideas would work.
