This class is designed to introduce major concepts and recent advanced related to mantle dynamics. Organized as a seminar coarse, this class is aimed at advanced undergraduate and graduate students. We will cover topics of active research, some of which may be seen as controversial.
The students will be tasked to edit or create a wikipedia page related to mantle dynamics, including observation constraints from geophysics, geochemistry, and plate motion / geodesy.
