Latest Club Updates[edit]

  • We've successfully managed to register as an official Ohio State student organization! You can view our directory listing at the Union website.
  • All members now have collective access to $250 worth of supplies from the Resource Room. We'll be using this for promotional and necessary supplies for the club (stationary, fliers, etc.).
  • For a couple weeks now, we've had a course page up for Spring 2015. Here, we can see the work our club members have been doing. Club members are free to join the course (with enrollment token "GoBucks"). For Summer 2015, we'll have a new course page set up.
  • We've registered for the upcoming Autumn Student Involvement Fair, which takes place on Sunday, August 23, 2015 from 5 to 8 PM on The Oval. We'll be alongside over 700 other student organizations representing our club and recruiting new members.
  • We're planning on holding our first edit-a-thon in the fall, most likely in September. Tentatively, the plan will be to introduce new editors to Wikipedia and editing, along with collectively working together on improving Wikipedia's coverage of Ohio State University and Columbus, Ohio.

Things to Work On[edit]

  • Brainstorm ideas on how to promote the club and bring in editors, along with running our future edit-a-thons!
  • If you're a member who has yet to create an account, consider taking the first step and create one now!

  • Thanks for the shout out! I've really enjoyed this first month of editing and I'm really excited for the future of this organization. Check out my latest edit (besides this one). It's about this really great German mass murderer!! Rimmel.Edits Talk 23:21, 20 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
