idwc and idw-commons templates merged to fdw-commons[edit]

The templates {{idwc}} and {{idw-commons}} have been merged and redirected into {{fdw-iw}} (also accessible through the redirect at {{fdw-commons}}). The new template is backwards compatible with the old ones, but there are some additional parameters that might be useful. Hopefully this change won't cause any issues with AWB. The old templates in this list should be replaced with the new one(s). —Willscrlt “Talk” ) 11:53, 17 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

{ip} Template[edit]

After discussion with the operator of the bot substing templates on this page, we found ourselves wondering why this template is being substed at all. Can anyone shed some light? Salvidrim! 01:56, 15 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

While this template is harmless in most cases there are some very long pages which go over the transclusion limit that use this template many hundreds of times. I suspect that is the reason. All the best: Rich Farmbrough08:44, 3 May 2014 (UTC).

Is this list still used?[edit]

There is Category:Wikipedia templates to be automatically substituted. There are quite a few redlinks in the list so presumably this list isn't being updated when a template is deleted or renamed without leaving a redirect. DexDor (talk) 05:05, 7 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
