Missing Months[edit]

Why are January, February and September treated differently on this calendar than the other months? --Aaron 18:59, 20 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I am in the process of updating all the months to correspond with the new style we just decided upon. I did September because it is the current month, and then I was going to work through the months. When I get more free time, expect more of the months to be added up there. Until then, use the old templates. Cheers. – Heaven's Wrath   Talk  02:15, 21 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

B-days[edit]

Are we allowed to include other family members' birthdays? I don't think so but I wanted to double check. Please respond specifically to me if at all. Randfan 21:37, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Unless they have an account on Wikipedia, I am going to say no. The calendar is so we can wish wikipedians "Happy Birthday." – Heaven's Wrath   Talk  23:03, 1 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Problem[edit]

Hi all! I just joined Esperanza and I would like to participate in this Calendar program. According to the instructions, all I have to do is to click on day of my choice. However, July does not respond when I click on the days. That is to say, I can't enter my birthday in it. Please help. If I had not explained clearly, please tell me. Thanks! Zachary crimsonwolf 13:37, 8 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, sorry about that. I am in the process of updating all the months to correspond with the new design. Updating each month takes like 30 minutes, and I get bored, so only some of the months have been updated. For the months that have not been updated yet-July is one of them-you click the edit button on the calendar and add the code where the day goes. Just follow any previous user's code. Eventually, I will finish the update and all the months will be the same. If you cannot figure it out, just leave me the dates for anything you wanted to add and I will do it myself. – Heaven's Wrath   Talk  22:03, 8 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Gee, thanks! I wanna add my birthday on 23rd July. Is that okay? Remind me to thank you later! Zachary crimsonwolf 13:25, 9 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Done. – Heaven's Wrath   Talk  18:36, 9 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

How can I thank you?! How 'bout a kiss? Its free! Muuuaah!! Thanks! Zachary crimsonwolf 12:41, 10 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A 2007 Calendar?[edit]

Are we going to have a 2007 calendar? Just wondering, because if not, it would be very hard to wish people happy birthdays, first edit days etc. Perhaps for the 2007 calendar, we can just use the 2006 calendar but remove all the first edit days and admin anniversaries. Then people can add their new admin anniversaries, first edit days etc. Thanks, Jam01 09:10, 21 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The calendar is not a 2006 calendar. It will automatically repeat. As birthdays, adminship anniversaries, and first edit days will not change from year to year, it makes sense to have the calendar repeat. The calendar was created to not matter what year it was. Otherwise each year there would have to be 356 pages created. The calendar will repeat forever. (If that still does not make sense, I can try to explain better.) – Heaven's Wrath   Talk  00:40, 22 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
That makes sense. However, 1st edit days would kind of become 2nd edit days. Well, I guess it's an excuse to spread cheer and happiness throughout the community, so its a good thing! Thanks for the explaination, Jam01 01:51, 28 December 2006 (UTC) - Happy New Year![reply]
I think you are misinterpreting the meaning of a "First Edit Day." It means "the day when you made your first edit." It has nothing to do with how many years you have participated on Wikipedia. – Heaven's Wrath   Talk  16:22, 28 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fill in the blanks?[edit]

Am I allowed to add in the names of other editors who first contributed to this project? There are over 3 million users currently and the section titled First Edit Day is grossly misrepresented. Any thoughts? --Siva1979Talk to me 19:18, 5 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That would be great! If you know or find out anyone's First Edit Day, feel free to add their names. The hope is that the calendar will eventually have a lot of names. – Heaven's Wrath   Talk  19:16, 6 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Missing months[edit]

Dose any one know about the missing months? I think that 6 months are missing, why is that? --•Tbone55(Talk) (Contribs) (UBX) (autographbook) 23:45, 26 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It appears that some months have been updated to a new format and are visible, whilst some are in an older, larger format on separate pages.--Diniz 18:36, 23 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

updated July[edit]

I just stumbled across this project today, and I updated July according to the January style. Hope y'all like it. Let me know if I did anything wrong. Cheers, Lisatwo 04:27, 14 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
