This course will explore the biological foundations of behavior. Throughout the semester, you will learn about neuronal structure and function, the anatomy and physiology of the brain, sensory and motor systems, brain plasticity and repair, sleep, and other special topics. A fair amount of time will also be devoted to discussing the research methods and techniques used to investigate topics in Behavioral Neuroscience.

As part of this course, students will copyedit existing articles relating to the course, and as a final project write an article from a stub.
