From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In this course we explore sociological analyses of the organization of work. We move from a study of capitalist organization of work, to unions, ESOPs, cooperatives, and communal living. We look at the building principles leading into the development of these alternatives, their benefits and limitations. One of the assignments is conducting additional research on a topic of interest from the course and contributing this knowledge through Wikipedia. This course is geared at the intermediate level.
