Political Science (PS) 331 - Oregon Politics explores trends in Oregon's politics, focusing mostly on politics at the state level but also at the roles played by the federal government and local governments (cities, counties, school districts, etc.). Click here for a course description by instructor Phil Keisling.

Students participating in this project have an opportunity to earn extra credit by writing about a notable Oregon ballot measure. Rather than writing a paper seen only by the instructor, students will conduct research and share their knowledge on Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia that anyone can edit. Since Wikipedia is an interactive, collaborative project, students may receive community feedback about their work. Learning how to contribute to Wikipedia can be challenging at first, so online support is encouraged. Students, if you encounter any difficulties, just ask for assistance!
