  • "including the 1987 Ecuador earthquakes, 1997 Ecuador earthquake, and 2007 Peru–Ecuador earthquake" - probably worth repeating "the". Also, do those other two earthquakes have articles? If not, are they worth being redlinks?
Changed. The second does, and it turns out, only affected Ecuador. It has been rephrased accordingly.
  • "Much of South American seismicity originates from subduction of the oceanic Nazca Plate under the continental South American Plate – which also caused the rise of the Andes – and subduction of the Pacific's lithosphere under the South American continent." - confusingly worded, and the opening part is a bit awkward. To clarify: is the "continental South American Plate" the same thing as the "South American continent"? If not, what's the difference? If so, reword.
Oceanic and continental are the two types of tectonic plate. I added volcanism in after seismicity.
  • Does "Ecuadorian Trench" have an article? Is it worth being a redlink? Also, still not clear whether the Trench or the fault region is the microplate you're referring to

  • Do "strike-slip faults" have an article? If not, should explain briefly what those are
No, but I linked to their section in fault and explained in parentheses.
  • Riobamba earthquake should be linked on first occurrence

Where, approximately, is the Yaquina fault?
Article doesn't specify an exact location, but it's near the Carnegie Ridge...
  • "The earthquake was preceded by a foreshock, which was modest in strength, but strong enough to cause chaos and people to flee from their homes into the streets." - probably better as two sentences

  • Why is Life cited as a journal when Time is cited as a magazine?
Both are 'citations'.
  • Citation information should reflect the circumstances under which a particular source was published - not the current publisher, or even the current newspaper name (although that you can wikilink to)
Found all of them but reference 7, 9, and 10.
  • Why is The Southeast Missourian made a redlink when Nevada Daily Mail is not?

  • Be consistent on what is and is not wikilinked and when in references.
