I think this topic is too big and should be split into several pages instead of one big one. Each page will deal with abolition in a set geographical location, for example British empire, United states, etc etc. It doesn't read well and people have been getting confused and putting people like Frederick Douglas in the part concerning British abolition. He came to Europe long after it was abolished in the British Empire. He came to campaign for abolition in the United states!
