Crash[edit]

On my Mac I continually crash after some time with the following:

Mono[edit]

Wouldn't Mono be easier? It runs natively without the use of Wine. --MisterLambda (talk) 22:37, 1 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Nah, it dosen't include all of the necessary code libraries. Im porting it right now into a tidy .app file. It takes a while and its chugging along. Tim1357 (talk) 22:48, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Huggle Crashing in Wine[edit]

I've installed wine and Huggle and all the needed dependencies, but when it launches (aside from all the terminal errors which vary, Huggle crashes with the following log:

Virtual Machine[edit]

Wouldn't using a virtual machine be a lot easier than using Wine? Usb10 Let's talk 'bout it! 14:27, 30 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Problems[edit]

I am a Ubuntu user and just got Huggle and Wine on my laptop. However, when I try to open Huggle, it tells me that the file is not exacutable, and therefore not runnable. Any way around this? --T H F S W (T · C · E) 06:53, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Try changing the file permissions to make it executable... LegoKontribsTalkM 07:38, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Help, cannot figure this out[edit]

I am a newbie to Mac and I'm trying to get Huggle to run on it. I've followed the instructions, but when I follow step 3 (entering the second string of text into Terminal), I get the response:

wine cmd.exe /c echo '%ProgramFiles%' returned empty string

I have no idea what that even means, let alone what I need to do to get Huggle to run. Could someone help? Thanks. --NellieBly (talk) 20:42, 10 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

edited to add: I am still using Huggle from my PC, but I'd dearly like to get rid of that laptop which is why I want to run Huggle on the Mac. --NellieBly (talk) 20:43, 10 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have the same problem!!!! Ramaksoud2000 (talk) 00:33, 17 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Wine servers down?[edit]

When I try to download wine it says it cannot find the servers. What is this? I really want to use huggle. Ramaksoud2000 (talk) 18:31, 19 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I got it by downlaoding winebottler combo. All good now. Ramaksoud2000 (talk) 19:14, 19 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

ATTENTION[edit]

I thought I would like to let all the unsuccesful users know that Thorncrag has made Huggle for Mac with no need to run Wine or anything at User:Thorncrag/Huggle + AWB Mac. There is also an AWB package too. However, you could just wait for Huggle 3. Ramaksoud2000 (talk to me) 16:52, 14 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
