Timeline for requests, January 2015

[edit]

Hello applicants, just wanted to update you on how the mailout of the titles is progressing. I just talked to our McFarland contact, and he and team are ready to begin. I will be forwarding approved emails and titles to them today, and they will be doing mailouts as soon as they can. Will update again as I hear from them. Thanks for your patience, The Interior (Talk) 19:13, 16 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like the first batch is out, seeing as how I got mine :) Wizardman 02:30, 22 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

New reference tool

[edit]

There is a new Visual Editor reference feature in development called Citoid. It is designed to "auto-fill" references using a URL or DOI. We would really appreciate you testing whether TWL partners' references work in Citoid. Sharing your results will help the developers fix bugs and improve the system. If you have a few minutes, please visit the testing page for simple instructions on how to try this new tool. Nikkimaria (talk) 04:46, 11 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Updated process

[edit]

@Timmyshin, Hnaluru, Iazyges, Coin945, Hmich176, The Bounder, and Smallchief: There's a new process for applying for books through McFarland here - if you're still interested in receiving access please add an application there and it will be set up ASAP. Sorry for the inconvenience! If you're no longer interested just ignore this message . Nikkimaria (talk) 00:41, 16 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

User:Nikkimaria How do I add an application? I see a link there that says "apply for access" but clicking on it just refreshes the page. Thanks. Timmyshin (talk) 21:33, 21 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Timmyshin: Hmm, sorry about that - try this. Nikkimaria (talk) 01:16, 22 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! Timmyshin (talk) 02:19, 22 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Status check

[edit]

Hi @Nikkimaria, could you have someone check on @Homeostasis07's application status? We were hoping to use this resource (per this edit) czar 09:35, 9 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Been sent in, would expect a response within a couple of days. Nikkimaria (talk) 16:12, 14 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
