I would like to see more material on the civil rights aspect of Baltimore history in the write-up. I have drafted this language for my report to the professional society and would like to use it in this notice:

The event’s focus will be the Baltimore, Chesapeake and Atlantic railroad and its role in the Baltimore civil rights movements of the early 20th century culminating in the Rosa Parks court case. The event is free and hosted at the Museum facilities. Attendees will be encouraged to become a Wikipedia editor and spend time contributing to articles on African American history and Baltimore industry with guidance from experts. They will bring their own equipment and no experience is necessary.

Engineers we can't stop making changes ... here is a second draft ...
The event’s focus will be the Baltimore, Chesapeake and Atlantic railroad and its role in the Baltimore civil rights movements of the early 20th century culminating in the Rosa Parks court case. It will also showcase notable Baltimoreans such as William Ashbie Hawkins. Hawkins' biggest professional mark came in 1917 before the U.S. Supreme Court in Buchanan v. Warley. He served as counsel to the Baltimore chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People and the Afro-American newspapers. The event is free and hosted at the Museum facilities. Attendees will be encouraged to become a Wikipedia editor and spend time contributing to articles on African American history and Baltimore industry with guidance from experts. They will bring their own equipment and no experience is necessary.
