Duplicate of Meta page?[edit]
@AlphaLemur: There's already an event page at meta:Meetup/Australia/July 2024 for next month's meeting — is that an intentional duplicate? Should we add our attendance at both places? Sam Wilson 06:23, 17 June 2024 (UTC)
- Dang, yes we now have duplicates :( i must have created july and august earlier. Feedback from the meetup move to meta shows that it has not been a popular one and i'm finding people are getting very confused - so I am moving them back to Wikipedia. it is just taking me a long time to do it as i am still quite slow... i am going to redirect the meta future events to the wikipedia ones. is that going to be ok ? - There is not really a problem - I for one hope we have at both places - but that's just me - it would be great to know that we are covered at both ... JarrahTree 11:28, 17 June 2024 (UTC)
- @JarrahTree: But both have an agenda and attendance list, which would be annoying to keep up to date in multiple places. Better to have a single source of truth, and point to it from the other places. Sam Wilson 12:59, 17 June 2024 (UTC)
