This page is currently a rough draft. It is intended to be an guideline essay on when/how to create notability sub-pages, and what they should and shouldn't contain. The authors believe that this isn't an example of WP:CREEP, as discussions have shown a need for better control over the creation of notability sub-pages (in order to prevent instruction creep). Note that the concepts in this guideline have already been recently implemented in notability sub-pages such as WP:BIO.

  • Have you actually read it? I know that most editors will agree with the actual content of the proposal, but if enough people think it still constitutes instruction creep, then I'll change it to an essay. That way it can still be referenced, but it isn't subject to WP:CREEP. I trust you don't have an objection to that? —gorgan_almighty 07:51, 2 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
