Given that this was an additional match to which the teams qualified by topping their respective divisions, and therefore a match that they would not have had as a determined fixture in their calendars from the beginning of the season, in what way was it part of the regular season? I thought about this issue at the time and decided to keep it. Whether it makes sense or not, if reliable sources say that it's in the regular season, then it's in the regular season. But I haven't checked the sources. - Dank (push to talk) 15:35, 24 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
They didn't top a NCAA division just their conference division. Schools don't have a NCAA designed schedule so for the purposes of the post season these would just be regular games. AlmostFrancis (talk) 00:19, 28 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
