Object to proposed text[edit]

I personally do not like the proposed synopsis for this article. I helped bring it to Featured status and I am a member of WikiProject Macintosh. I object to the relatively large portion of the summary paid to the Apple II. We can trim out a sentance or two.In its place, I think we can put something in on how the hardware and OS are made by the same company and fully integrated. We also can put something on the transition to Intel chips. I’m very sorry to bother all of you admins but I cannot edit the page. Please, I think we can do better than this paragraph. Not all the info in the lead was created equal.--HereToHelp (talkcontribs) 02:52, 9 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've unprotected the summary here for the time being. Go ahead and tweak it as you see fit. I'll reprotect in a few hours. Raul654 02:55, 9 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've done what I wanted to to it, but you should probably leave it unlocked a while longer for others who might find something. There's an entire WikiProject that will want to look over it; I've sent out the message already (via a network of templates made just for things like this).--HereToHelp (talkcontribs) 03:15, 9 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
