Please remove the space as seen above. Either that or replace the em dash with an en dash between two spaces. Thanks TIM KLOSKE|TALK 02:13, 14 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Done. Cheers. --MZMcBride (talk) 03:06, 14 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Less minor edit

[edit]

My knowledge of main page editing is a little rusty. I'd like to change what's shown on the front page to mirror modifications that have been made to the article following talk page discussion. More specifically, changing:

"Its enacting legislation, the Fair Tax Act is pending in the United States Congress."

to

"One version of the legislation, the Fair Tax Act (H.R. 25/S. 1025) has been introduced in the United States Congress more than three times, but has not made it out of committee thus far."

The first makes it sound (at least to US legislation laymen) like this is sure to be future law, whereas from what I gather this is far from being the case. Would it be bad form for me to go ahead and change it? I don't like touching protected pages without asking first... Cheers, yandman 12:31, 15 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

(A) As of the current version of the article it says exactly what the blurb says "Its enacting legislation, the Fair Tax Act (HR 25/S 1025) has been introduced in the United States Congress.". Do not change this without first making sure your changes are in the article. (B) Don't put any external links here (ever). Raul654 (talk) 16:59, 15 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
