Our article..

[edit]

Are you feeling strongly about any particular article? I like the two I have already mentioned, but I am not really invested in either. Adimart1 (talk) 18:37, 14 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I like both the ones you suggested. I am ok with working on any of them as they all seem interesting. We both wrote about transferases, but gene silencing might be more interesting?--WillPugarth (talk) 20:47, 14 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I think the gene silencing would be the most interesting. Shall we pick that then, with one of the transferase ones as a back up? Adimart1 (talk) 02:11, 15 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I agree, the gene silencing one is more interesting. And transferase will be our backup. Cool, cool! --WillPugarth (talk) 03:23, 15 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
It looks like Gene Silencing is taken. I have selected Transferase for us then (in the articles table) . . . Message back here if everything is correct --WillPugarth (talk) 03:33, 15 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Looks good. Adimart1 (talk) 18:54, 15 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Unit 7 Notes

[edit]

Key points

[edit]

Some of the key points that are necessary for this article's improvement include:

1) the history and background for transferases; 2) the general structure of transferases; 3) how transferases work; 4) the energy considerations of transferases; 5) any cofactors, coenzymes, etc.; 6) How are transferases controlled/regulated; 7) Any diseases transferase is involved in; 8) Biotech/industrial/medical research uses relating to transferases

I also think that these topics are going to be fairly useful as section headings/an outline for the page. --WillPugarth (talk) 19:40, 21 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
