Proposal to repurpose this redirect[edit]

I propose to repurpose this shortcut to target the mediawiki Who Wrote That? tool instead. (It's an amazingly helpful tool; try it out! I use it all the time.) Currently, there are a total of six uses of this redirect: three of them are to User:Eumat114's userspace (last active in Oct. 2022); one is to Wikipedia:Shortcut table/uppercase (which is an index page, and would not have to be changed) and the fifth is to Wikipedia:WikiProject Writing. The sixth is the autological reference to the redirect. So in reality, nobody seems to be using this shortcut for its intended purpose, and if this redirect were retargeted, there is no outstanding page that would need to be adjusted because of it. User:Breadyornot (creator), would you be okay with idea of changing the target of this redirect to the tool? I'll add a link from the Writing project as well, so others can weigh in, in case anyone has plans to use it. This would be a very helpful shortcut for the "Who Wrote That?" tool, it's a natural fit, and I think it would get used a a lot. If adopted, this would most likely become a soft redirect. @Mathglot: That is fine by me. We already have another shortcut listed on WikiProject Writing. I will go ahead and remove all WWT shorcuts from our pages. Thanks and this tool looks promising! Breadyornot (talk) 20:08, 15 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, Breadyornot, much appreciated. Will just hold off a bit for any Project users who would like to weigh in, in case there are any objections. Mathglot (talk) 20:12, 15 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Seems to be no objection, so I'll go ahead and make the change. Your accord is appreciated. Mathglot (talk) 05:35, 18 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
