Notability as assessed on Wikipedia can be temporary, as can be seen in the many things that were once thought notable and kept in a deletion debate and have since been deleted. If notability as defined on Wikipedia really isn't temporary, why are things once deemed notable deleted? Because our opinions have changed. Hope that clarifies. I think what ClaudeReigns was getting at was that the wording of the essay is not clear. The section's title makes a statement that "Notability is not temporary" while the text argues the opposite. This is in contrast to your other sections where the title is the exact point you are trying to argue. You also use the double negative of "Wikipedians should not state that notability is not temporary". I think you should rephrase this as "Notability is not necessarily permanent" or "Notability is not always permanent".
