First Project: Articles length[edit]

The character lists are all too long even though they have been divided into aliens, villains, and other. Any ideas on what else to do to shorten them? JDDJS (talk) 16:08, 11 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

How about cutting down on what we mention in the lists? We should deliberate on what's important and what's not. Most of the stuff mentioned in the character biographies are trivial and can be removed. Chaoshi (talk) 23:30, 1 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for taking so long to respond. We can do that, but the IPs will put up a fight. We will probably need to protect the pages because the IP addresses won't like the changes. JDDJS (talk) 19:52, 6 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Cool, did you have any idea of what you wanted to remove in the entries. I have some Ideas, but I want to see what you think first. Chaoshi (talk) 22:24, 6 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Well you can see what I did already; other than that I don't have any other ideas. JDDJS (talk) 22:26, 6 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'm going to try and trim the character page a little later today. Also, I think we need o do something about the episode lists. Of all the episode lists I've seen on Wikipedia, I've never seen one detail everything that happens in an episode. They usually just the scaled-down TV guide version. So, I think we should try to shorten it, although we will get heavy resistance from the IPs.

Also, I was thinking of merging all the video game pages together, since most of them are stubs. Either that or just summarize that game's plots. The people who write them really don't know how to briefly summarize. The later suggestion would probably be the easiest.Chaoshi (talk) 17:29, 25 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

B-Class checklist[edit]

Greeting, I am a coordinator for WP:ANIMATION. A B-Class checklist will be added to the project banner, along with the work group text, including the importance function. The B-Class checklist will include 6 point parameters to assess against the criteria. If you have any questions, please discuss at our talk page. Thank for your time. Merger of this project into WikiProject Television as a task force[edit]

It has been suggested that Ben 10 work group of WikiProject Animation to be merged into WikiProject Television as a task force since the project might be inactive or semi-active. After reviewing this project that it appears that there have not been any active discussion on the talk page in some time and the only content updates appear to be simple maintenance so being supported by a larger project might be beneficial. If you have questions or comments, please let us know. JJ98 (Talk / Contributions) 10:38, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Request for information on WP1.0 web tool[edit]

Hello and greetings from the maintainers of the WP 1.0 Bot! As you may or may not know, we are currently involved in an overhaul of the bot, in order to make it more modern and maintainable. As part of this process, we will be rewriting the web tool that is part of the project. You might have noticed this tool if you click through the links on the project assessment summary tables.

We'd like to collect information on how the current tool is used by....you! How do you yourself and the other maintainers of your project use the web tool? Which of its features do you need? How frequently do you use these features? And what features is the tool missing that would be useful to you? We have collected all of these questions at this Google form where you can leave your response. Walkerma (talk) 04:24, 27 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
