What to do when we run out of articles?[edit]

We have just four articles left to edit from the original list of 27 food and drink articles. What would you blitz participants like to do when the list is finished? I can imagine a few options:

  1. Declare victory, give ourselves gold medals, and end the blitz early.
  2. Allow items from the Requests page to count toward the blitz.
  3. Add a new set of articles to be determined by your coordinators.
  4. Something else.

I am sorely tempted by option 1, but I will defer to the will of the people. – Jonesey95 (talk) 04:44, 17 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Just checked, and it looks like Regional variations of barbecue (which I'll pass on :-)) is the only article still unclaimed; I should finish Mondelēz International tomorrow. Option 1 works for me too. All the best, Miniapolis 14:36, 17 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I concur with option 1; given that we had a very successful Drive in November, we deserve a break. I'm too full for dessert anyway. :-D Cheers, Baffle gab1978 (talk) 01:12, 18 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
It looks like we have consensus among the active coordinators to close the blitz when the last two articles are completed. Fun! – Jonesey95 (talk) 20:30, 18 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I have closed the blitz. For the record, we completed editing the last article at 13:42 UTC today, ten hours before the official end of the blitz. Victory! (For now.) – Jonesey95 (talk) 14:36, 19 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
