Pardon me, but how do I vote?--DThomsen8 (talk) 01:55, 16 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@Dthomsen8: For what it's worth, you can see an example of last year's votes here. --Biblioworm 02:33, 16 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Easy. Some members will vote, and I will do likewise tomorrow. --DThomsen8 (talk) 02:39, 16 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
That's a good point and thanks for raising it. I'll do a "How to vote" subsection in the "Overview" section. Cheers, Baffle gab1978 (talk) 03:55, 16 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I noticed that you added instructions on how to oppose a candidate. I thought there was no opposes in these elections, since it was my understanding that coordinators were elected based solely on how many support votes they got. --Biblioworm 04:14, 16 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Removed. Cheers, Baffle gab1978 (talk) 04:31, 16 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

4+1?[edit]

It seems like the vote will be close, but even if it is not, could we just elect a lead and four assisting coordinators?--DThomsen8 (talk) 19:12, 23 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

How exactly does the voting work, anyway? For example, how many votes to you have to get relative to the other candidates in order to be elected? --Biblioworm 19:32, 23 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I don't understand the issue. The Positions section lists:
  • Lead Coordinator (one open position): ...
  • Assistant Coordinator (three open positions): ...
and we have one standing for lead and three standing for assistant. I'm seeing an uncontested election of all candidates as it is. What is who missing? --Stfg (talk) 20:12, 23 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with Simon. This isn't Arbcom; basically if you volunteer, there's room and no one raises any strenuous objections, you're in. It's only a WikiProject...Happy holidays and all the best, Miniapolis 23:38, 23 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, I was wrong to ask. Happy New Year and best wishes to our Coordinators for 2015.--DThomsen8 (talk) 20:07, 1 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

() No need to apologize. Thanks for your help, Happy New Year and all the best, Miniapolis 00:28, 2 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
