Nice idea![edit]

As we know, all copyedits are not created equal and their challenges differ; one may be a rocky translation, while another may require a major overhaul to remove POV. While my last copyedit tends to vanish into the mist as soon as I start the next one, there are articles I feel I've substantively improved along the way and it's good to have an incentive to keep track. Even if I myself haven't done any really substantial copyedits recently, I too agree this is a good idea. Some articles need such extensive copyediting as to almost be a rewrite, and particularly for such articles a separate indicator of appreciation and recognition is more than welcome.
