Pohl

[edit]

Is Robert Pohl the Cornell professor who has studied specific heats of glasses? If so, I could write a little bit about him. Alison Chaiken 15:02, 2 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The German article is about Robert Wichard Pohl, a German physicist (1884 - 1976). But the other Pohl might deserve an article as well, I'm not sure. – Quadell (talk) (bounties) 16:54, 2 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Another source

[edit]

Category:Science and engineering prizes -- perhaps someone having an offline copy can generate a unified list of missing scientists from these. --Pjacobi 18:11, 10 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

As per "Another source" Electrostatic generator has alot of scientists that need to be included. J. D. Redding

Catholic Encyclopedia

[edit]

Perhaps a surprising source, but the Catholic Encyclopedia of 1912 has a number of articles without corresponding wikipedia articles. I've been categorising them, and I've got a few articles about scientists here:
