No Me Ames[edit]

Okay, so I have the chart performance done for the song. This is going to sound awkward, but the only photos I have of them on my Wii and it doesn't allow to transfer them to an SD so I will take an image of it through my cell phone tonight. Could you do the music video and personnel section? I'm not too experienced with music video sections and I don't have a physical copy of On the 6 so I don't know if the pop and salsa personnel are the same. Okay, that sounds good. I'll try to find some information about the video, and neither do I, actually. It's the only album of hers I do not own. I can try to look around for scans, and if I can't find it, I know another user who has a copy of it. — Statυs (talk) 18:18, 5 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Good to hear. How do you like the chart performance and accolades so far? I will continue to work on the original and cover versions of other artists in the meantime. Erick (talk) 18:24, 5 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It's looking great. It's really hard to find information on this video. It hasn't even been uploaded to any of Lopez's or Anthony's YouTube channels. — Statυs (talk) 18:36, 5 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I found it on Tr3s, the site is owned by MTV Network so it's not a user uploaded video. Erick (talk) 18:43, 5 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I found it on YouTube, just not on an official channel. I was just pointing it out. xD I managed to find a source about the premise of the video. I don't think very much info will be available for it, but I'm still searching. — Statυs (talk) 18:47, 5 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not in the US, so I can't view this video, but apparently it features J.Lo talking about the video. — Statυs (talk) 18:51, 5 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
"Sorry this video is no longer available" >:( I even searched through Yahoo Music Videos but the layout changed to only post YouTube videos. J-Lo is apparently going to release a compilation album this year and hopefully it will "No Me Ames" and some exclusive content on it. EDIT: Oh right, I forgot! I can look info in Spanish, I see if they say anything about it. Erick (talk) 18:59, 5 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I hope so too. She should also release a DVD with all her videos, and information about them. :P Would come in useful. I happened to find a good enough quality scan of the single cover, and just got rid of some of the weird distortions. — Statυs (talk) 19:10, 5 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I found some very useful information on Google Books and I listed them on notes. It contains information like how Anthony and Lopez met up. Note 6 is in Spanish, but the rest should be really helpful. Erick (talk) 19:15, 5 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Alright. I'll take a look through them. — Statυs (talk) 19:17, 5 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
More music video info including where it was filmed at. Here I'm going through Google News archive at the moment. EDIT: This might also be of interest to you. In article, I don't know how to explain it but it mentions how Sony Discos promoted the single and that they used the pop and salsa versions of the song on the radio stations to get #1. Erick (talk) 20:25, 5 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, that's the link I used for the stuff I added on the music video section. That could come in use! It looks like the song was just released alongside "If You Had My Love", in which it charted. It then received it's own CD single release. On that note, I just bought a 3 CD lot of "If You Had My Love" from eBay; which includes it's b-side release. xD — Statυs (talk) 23:02, 5 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'm looking for a source to verify what the song is talking about. Having trouble finding one though. Erick (talk) 17:25, 6 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Have a look at the critical reception and tell me what you think. The only thing's left to do is find a source detailing what the song is about the personnel section for both versions of the song (if possible). Erick (talk) 18:12, 7 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Looks good! I'll ask Soap to add it! — Statυs (talk) 02:21, 8 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry I haven't been able to edit it much. I've been super busy with school. I'll be able to continue helping out soon. — Statυs (talk) 21:52, 8 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
That's understandable. Erick (talk) 23:29, 8 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I've uploaded the image of the duo performing "No Me Ames". I apologize for the not-so-great quality, I had to take a picture of it with my cell phone. I've added the image on the article for their tour. Erick (talk) 02:24, 10 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I think I've covered everything about the song, just finish off the lead and that should be about it. Erick (talk) 01:53, 18 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
