I created at Joseph Cilley (senator) page and it is linked to his father Joseph Cilley and corrected the links that I found. I will leave it to someone who is maintaining this list to remove the links and notes when and if they decied to. Good Luck and getting all these written! I finished this up. – Quadell (talk) (bounties) 13:04, 26 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Splitting[edit]

It seems to me that this page should be split into subpages. Any objections? – Quadell (talk) (bounties) 13:04, 26 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I moved the governors to a page for state politicians. I can create a third page for executive branch politicians, if you'd like. Adniel 13:23, 26 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I was thinking more along the lines of combining Wikipedia:WikiProject Missing encyclopedic articles/American politicians and Wikipedia:WikiProject Missing encyclopedic articles/American politicians 2 into a single page with no red-links at all, but only links to sub-pages (vaguely like the Hotlist page, only not divided by letter). The subpages would be Wikipedia:WikiProject Missing encyclopedic articles/American politicians/Senators, Wikipedia:WikiProject Missing encyclopedic articles/American politicians/Representatives, Wikipedia:WikiProject Missing encyclopedic articles/American politicians/Federal judges, Wikipedia:WikiProject Missing encyclopedic articles/American politicians/Governors, Wikipedia:WikiProject Missing encyclopedic articles/American politicians/Cabinet-level positions, etc. Does this sound like a good idea? It would be useful to me, since I'm only doing Congressmembers, but it would also make the page more manageable, IMHO. – Quadell (talk) (bounties) 14:33, 26 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Starting number[edit]

I would appreciate some help finding out how many politicians under each category have been listed thusfar. I did my best guess for the senators looking at the list before it was split, but I would like someone more familiar to help fill in the other info. Thanks! --Reflex Reaction (talk)• 18:41, 3 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, the Representatives list is not actually complete yet, so it's a tricky situation: many have been done before there's a starting count. What to do? – Quadell (talk) (bounties) 20:28, 3 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
That's fine, but when the list(s) are complete could you let me know so that I can go back through the logs and estimate a starting value. --Reflex Reaction (talk)• 17:21, 6 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
