The page appears to have not been actively maintained lately. Does anyone know anything? -- Taku 10:44, 23 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I guess you're right. This page needs someone to maintain it. Any volunteers? :) By the way, I've noticed the articles you've been creating on Japanese politicians. Let me just say I wish I had the same dedication to wikipedia, but I think I'd probably bore myself to death if I tried to create articles for all the Portuguese MPs. But I might give it a try someday. :) Cattus talk 19:53, 23 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
As you might have guessed, the creation of those articles led me to this page. There is Wikipedia:Requested_articles/Japan/Government, which is more maintained than this one by people like, well me. So, the portion of this page about japanese politicians is actually a duplication. But since the list, it seems, is generated in some automatic manner, I can see some value, if it is for cross-check purpose. Anyway, good luck for Portuguese politicians. I actually used (and is using) a computer script, in part, to create those Japanese politicians articles and so the task was really not as labor as it might have appeared :) I wish, someday, I do the similar undertaking with non-Japanese politicians, I'm probably not knowledgeable enough. On the other hands, I guess you really don't need to know politics to create politician articles with very basic bio data like birth date, place, etc. Anyhow, this is something for future; I'm busy enough with Japanese politicians for now. -- Taku 08:13, 24 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm in the process of creating stubs for all the French politician missing articles. If anyone has a good knowledge of the French political system let me know. Boatcolour (talk) 16:17, 28 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
