Hi Mal et al. There's now a way of doing this with a bot, see Wikipedia:Version 1.0 Editorial Team/Index of subjects and talk page. At the Beatles Project we've not resolved yet whether to use the automated version or a manual one, but for a new small project I've set up I'm using it (Wikipedia:Version 1.0 Editorial Team/The KLF articles by quality). Anyway, not only is it quite nifty but you need to be aware of the discussion in that and related pages so you can get your articles assessed for Wikipedia 1.0 (CDROM edition of the enyclopedia).
