This is a try at a resume of Torture during the Algerian War. I actually did nothing else than copy-paste the "overview" section of the article, which already aimed at providing a resume. I've counted the words, and they are about ten times more than what the "Article resume" template restricts us to. But, on the other hand, I doubt such a subject can be treated in 150 words: precision is key if one wants to avoid vague opinions and value judgments. This said, it is only a transfert and an experiment at that at using this template, so it surely can be improved, condensed, and all... If anyone feels like he can provide a resume of the use of torture & the debates which it has left, going until today and Paul Aussaresses condemnation, that would be of great help ! Tazmaniacs
