To-do list:
Fair use

Articles

  • Expand all articles to at least Start class. Some song stubs can't be expanded and should be redirected to the relevant album article. Use the "Interstellar Overdrive" article as an example when editing a song stub.
  • Expand all of the Floyd's studio album articles to at least GA status.
  • See COTM for monthly collabs.

Project building

  • Add WikiProject Pink Floyd banner {{WPFloyd}} to all appropriate Talk pages.
  • Personally invite quality editors working on Pink Floyd articles to join the project.

If you complete one of these tasks, please remove it from the list.

Hey< Guys Discussion of Meddle[edit]

FYI discussion about WP:PRIMARYTOPIC, Meddle at [1]. Hope to see some input from members, Thanx Mlpearc (talk) 04:07, 21 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry I should of posted this @ Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Pink Floyd Mlpearc (talk) 23:54, 22 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Project founder.[edit]

I was once a major contributor to Wikipedia. I eventually got perma-banned due to my WP:POINT edits about the spoiler policy on Wikipedia, years ago. It was something that got me too riled up.

Nonetheless, I got the Pink Floyd article to FA, and got it featured on the main page. I founded this Wikiproject.

I was hurt to find that this edit: [2] removed me as the founder of this Wikiproject. Who cares that I got permabanned under that user name. I founded the damn thing. I should have some credit for that, even if I eventually got booted for something that had nothing to do with Pink Floyd.

I doubt this will get that edit reverted. I don't even care that much. I just think that Wikipedia should chronicle the history of their edits, projects, and articles, and not burn them all to oblivion. History is important. 24.207.65.88 (talk) 09:22, 30 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I put my old user name back in as founder. It's not a huge deal, but it's a historical fact. It doesn't matter that I was permabanned for making angry edits about the spoiler policy several years ago under that name. I founded the project under that name. It's historical fact. There was no Wikiproject before I came along, and it should be reflected in the history of the Wikiproject, even if I was eventually banned for unrelated posts. Rewriting history is not cool, and not encyclopedic. 24.207.65.88 (talk) 08:36, 21 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
