I really feel we should put the external links in the newsletter because it makes it look like we are making up the news. We are reporting news in the recent news, and thus the reader wants to know where it came from. Like in the Portal:Current events, the external link is linked after the statement. --SRX 21:18, 28 December 2008 (UTC)

How the hell does it look like we're making up the news? Are you serious? Any news we report in the newsletter, should also be in the article of the person/championship that we're reporting about. Put the link there; I think it's pointless to have it in the article, and in my opinion it lokks terrible. ♥NiciVampireHeart22:02, 29 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

In the news

[edit]

Should we add the matches of the year winners for TNA? They aired that on the Impact! this week?--WillC 04:40, 4 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Not really, we didn't add the Slammys, only the fact that they occurred. Do you mean more than one match was announced as the match of the year?--Truco 04:43, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
In a way yeah. Samoa Joe vs Kurt Angle at Lockdown 2008 was called the TNA World Heavywieght Championship match of the year. Gail Kim vs Awesome Kong on Impact in January where Kim lost the belt was called TNA Women's Knockout Championship match of the year. Some others were called this and that, I can't remember them all. They showed Jarrett vs Angle from BFG IV and had the first championship match of 2008 on Impact, as well as AJ Styles vs Sting for the heavyweight championship from Turning Point. They all probably got rated something besides the tag title match which was taped a few weeks ago.--WillC 05:00, 4 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I think that is just trivial, how about just state that TNA gave out end of the year awards? It might be too late to add it, however.--Truco 16:25, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
