Deletion sorting

[edit]

I've placed Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Malls in the "Related WikiProjects" section on the main page. I note that many/most of the deletion discussions are signaled on your project talk page and that there had been some mention of the Deletion Sorting page in past discussions, but I did not get a feeling for whether you had decided as a project to use the Deletion Sorting page actively or not. Please remove my addition if you feel it inappropriate or inconsistent with the project's practices. --User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 23:24, 1 December 2007 (UTC) [reply]

I've taken the liberty of adding your project template to Westroads Mall, due to recent events. The article of the shooting is currently linked to Main Page. Tuxide (talk) of WikiProject Retailing 04:01, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! SchuminWeb (Talk) 04:59, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thought I would mention that shopping mall is also linked to Main Page; fortunately it has avoided the blunt of vandalism so far. I'd hate to make such a big deal about this, but I am also from Omaha, I live, work, and go to school close to where the incident took place, and Westroads Mall massacre has been the most active article on Wikipedia ever since it was linked to the main page. It was the very first shopping mall I've ever been in. I don't mean to ask this as a personal favor, but I think it would be most appropriate to push for the improvement of the article on the mall itself (such as expand on history, etc.). I am not convinced that Westroads Mall is notable only because of a fricken massacre. Tuxide (talk) of WikiProject Retailing 11:31, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
