For this column, do you mean "is the official U.S. Govt. photo being display on Wikipedia?" Or do you mean "is the displayed photo in the public domain? (free, copyleft, GNU)"--Appraiser 18:34, 17 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Ideally, we should be able to upload and use their official Congress bio photo, since that's what the article will primarily be in reference to. However, in constructing that table, my intent was to first ensure that all photos were in the public domain via some source (for example, one of the photos is a work of the U.S. Navy, another of the Dept. of Commerce).
