Depressing subject related to women issues[edit]

Megalibrarygirl, etc., I created an article relevant to women's issues, Witch-hunts in Nepal, but it seems focus at WiR is mostly on biographies. and DYKs look mostly uplifting, so I was wondering if my recent depressing DYK from that article is acceptable/relevant here. (I haven't been adding the WIR template to my articles' talkpages because it generates a message that says the article might have been created by a novice (during some kind of drives or something) and might have problems, which is not the case with my recent articles, any advice on why this is or not necessary? I have been adding biographies I create to the monthly lists though.) Thanks! Usedtobecool   19:52, 13 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Usedtobecool: you can totally add the templates to the articles. It does say that the article "might" be made by a newbie, but that's OK. It helps us track the created articles, too. :) Focus at WiR is mostly bios, but the scope of the project also includes issues that affect women, so your article would fit the bill. WiR is pretty broadly construed. :) I hope that helps! Megalibrarygirl (talk) 21:17, 13 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Line breaks[edit]

Hi JLaTondre! A small nitpick: it looks like the way the hidden comments and inclusion tags are placed is creating extra line breaks at the WiR project page. If you take a look at the bot's coding anytime soon, it might be nice to remedy this. Thanks for your work operating the bot; it's cool to have this DYK list! I have changed it to remove the extraneous line break. Thanks. -- JLaTondre (talk) 23:31, 22 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
