I would appreciate it if whom ever is the instructor of this class could speak to their students about the difference between improving an article and adding problematic content as well as what constitutes a reliable source. Please remind your students that commercial sources are not acceptable and adding unreliable and inaccurate information makes more work for other editors who then need to do clean up. Thanks! It is particularly important that people understand that if they work on topics involving Native American people, they are dealing with LIVING people, LIVING cultures and people who are routinely subject to both cultural appropriation and assimilation. Some of the material being developed may be more appropriately added in bits to assorted smaller articles. I am hoping very much that these students' grades do not depend on their edits "sticking" if they put up unacceptable material. Montanabw(talk) 06:08, 31 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
