It was interesting to see mention of a previous Editor of the Week proposal. The current manifestation of the idea can be found at WER's Editor of the Week project. Since January 2013 more than 300 editors have been nominated and awarded. The award demonstrates appreciation for an editor's positive behaviours and spirit.
