Dear Sir, with reference to the expression( ghosts in the machinery) i conjured this little gem up whilst working on nucler subs in the 1960's,since then it appears that the New Scientist mag and many more people(musical Artists in general have taken credit for this expression. i am rather annoyed at their arrogance regarding this issue.regards,john sullivan
