Wu Hung
Wu Hung (Chinese: 巫鴻; born 1945) is an American art historian.
Wu earned a Master of Arts from the Central Academy of Fine Arts and completed a PhD in art history and anthropology at Harvard University.[1] At the University of Chicago, Wu holds the Harrie A. Vanderstappen Distinguished Service Professorship of Art History and the College.[2] Wu was awarded a Guggenheim fellowship in 1999,[3] and elected a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in 2007.[4] From 2015 to 2016, he was the Slade Professor of Fine Art at Oxford University, and gave the 2016 Slade Lecture.[5][6]
