Zealanapis otago is a species of Anapidae that is endemic to New Zealand.[1]
Taxonomy
[edit]This species was described in 1989 by Norman Platnick and Ray Forster from male specimens collected in Otago. The holotype is stored in Otago Museum.[1]
Description
[edit]The male is recorded at 0.95mm in length.[1]
Distribution
[edit]This species is only known from a small area in Dunedin, New Zealand.[1]
Conservation status
[edit]Under the New Zealand Threat Classification System, this species is listed as "Data Deficient" with the qualifiers of "Data Poor: Size" and "Data Poor: Trend".[2]
