  • 22 – Sydney, Australia: NRL Premiers Melbourne Storm are stripped of their 2007 and 2009 Premierships and 2006–2008 minor Premierships, ordered to return fines and prize-money totalling $1.689 million, deducted all eight Premiership points for the 2010 season and barred from receiving Premiership points for the rest of the season by the National Rugby League after being found guilty of long-term gross salary cap breaches[4]
