One can sympathise with the thought process of putting the PDSA medal in the vicinity of the George Cross, but some/many might be offended putting the animals on a par with the George Cross winners. It is like putting Senator John McCain and a carrier-pigeon with the Dickin Medal on the same gallantry list. In any case, the PDSA and Dickin awards do not come from the UK state and are not awarded by the King-Emperor or Queen Elizabeth. Better to have a section for Animals under Bravery wards and group Dickin and PDSA together. But not directly as a sub-section of the GC or VC. Protozoon (talk) 22:32, 31 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
