German Christians[edit]

I followed a link here, puzzled as to what the category actually meant. For anyone involved with 20th century theology, "German Christians" signifies not simply Christians from Germany, but members of a pro-Nazi grouping in the churches during the 1930s and 1940s. I notice that there are not many people in the category or most of its subcategories and wonder if this is why. I know I would find it very odd to type this phrase under the entry for Bonhoeffer, for example, because he spent the last part of his life in mortal struggle against the "German Christians".Sjwells53 (talk) 16:09, 19 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
