Spaceflight should be a subcategory of Space Exploration, Spaceflight is typically/usually manned. All manned "things" should fall under the spaceflight category will spaceflight should be a subcategory to space exploration. And non-manned space exploration should be under Space exploration.--aceslead 02:14, 20 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

agreed. Mlm42 09:44, 4 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
mmmm.. on second thought, spaceflight is pretty ambiguous; Category:Human spaceflight seems more appropriate.. the category should probably not exist. Mlm42 09:47, 4 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Spaceflight is about stuff that flies in space, it doesn't have to be manned, it doesn't have to be exploring anything, it just has to be capable of flying there. A nuclear bomb in orbit is spaceflight, but no humans and no exploration. Human spaceflight is a subcategory of spaceflight. Right?WolfKeeper 16:17, 4 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Spaceflight even has its own portal and everything. There's nothing ambiguous about it; it encompasses telecommunications satellites, weapons etc. etc.WolfKeeper 16:30, 4 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
If you want a pithy explanation, spaceflight is how you get somewhere; space exploration is what you do when you get there. All of the propulsion and spacecraft technologies are spaceflight not space exploration.WolfKeeper 17:19, 4 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The problem here is that now unmanned space missions, like satellites, the mars rovers, etc etc, don't fall under space exploration?? Mlm42 18:05, 4 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
