History[edit]

Delany College was established in 1942 as Patrician Brothers' High School, a Catholic, all-boys school catering for students in Years 5 to 10.

Patrician Brothers' High School became a Years 7 to 12, co-educational college in 1997, reformed by Quentin Evans, in order to meet the changing needs of the local community. The school was later renamed "Delany College" after the Patrician Brothers' founder, Bishop Daniel Delany.[2] In 1996 Evans founded the Catholic Terra Sancta College.
