Comment: This is not a TOOSOON issue, the game is notable, but the reviews are obscure. Adventure Gamers, Multiplayer.it and Gameplay (Benelux) are the only reliable reviews. This is usable but I'm not sure it's significant. Universe For Sale is an award winning[1] hand-drawn point and click narrative adventure game[2], which is being developed by Tmesis Studio and published by Akupara Games. Universe For Sale is set to release sometime in late 2023 to Steam and other PC storefronts.
Gameplay[edit]
Players will explore the nooks and crannies of a ramshackle colony on Jupiter as they interact with its inhabitants learning more of the story that unfolds in front of them.[3] This point and click adventure is heavily influenced by European sci-fi comics and tries to evoke that feeling throughout the players play through. Interact with the mysterious cultists old friend Lilia to shape and create universes that help uncover the two characters intertwined past[4]. Universe For Sale is an point and click narrative game that relies on its comicbook artstyle and convoluted dialogue.
Plot[edit]
Universe For Sale follows a mysterious cultist who's stripped the flesh from his bones in order to reach enlightenment. In the journey of self-acceptance he finds himself in a space station nestled in the chaotic clouds of Jupiter. Within this space station there's a bizarre bazaar where a young, worried woman crafts entire universes in the palm of her hand[5]. Follow their journey as they discover just how interwoven their lives truly are and what makes them unique.
Development[edit]
Universe For Sale is being developed by Tmesis Studios with accompanying from Guglielmo Diana[6]. Tmesis Studios was founded in 2021 by Federico Chiummento and Zeno Colangelo.
