Haini Wolfgramm (born in San Francisco, California) is an American singer, musician, businessman, and a former member of the family group The Jets, composed of siblings: Eddie, Eugene Wolfgramm, Elizabeth Wolfgramm, Kathi, Leroy, Moana, and Rudy Wolfgramm.

Early Life[edit]

Wolfgramm grew up in Robbinsdale, Minnesota. He, like the rest of his family, are members of the Latter Day Saints. [1]

The Jets[edit]

The band initially called themselves Quasar after a now-defunct brand of television sets. They changed their name to the Jets, a name taken from the Elton John song "Bennie and the Jets", on the suggestion of manager Don Powell.[2]

The single "Rocket 2 U, featuring lead vocals by Haini, received a nomination for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals at the 31st Grammy Awards in 1989. It peaked at #6 on the Billboard Charts.[3]

After the Jets[edit]

Wolfgramm is the CEO of H & S Records, an independent record label. [4] In 2017, H & S (through their subsidiary Sony/Red) released the 13 Crowns single "Grateful".[5][6] 13 Crowns is composed of members of the Wolfgramm family. [7]

Haini performs as a member of "The Jets Original Family Band" with brothers Leroy and Rudy.[8] In 2021, the group was presented with a "Best of Las Vegas" award for their "80's & 90's Experience" show.[9]

Also in 2021, The Jets were featured in the documentary The Jets: Making It Real. It premiered at the Utah Film Market. [10] The film focuses on the three oldest Wolfgramm brothers, Haini included.

Personal life[edit]

Wolfgramm married Sarah Knapp on March 24, 1994. Sarah was a singer/songwriter for the RCA Records’ 1990’s group Blush. Together they have 13 children.[11] In 2023, the family was featured on Good Morning America.[11]
